Our Festival (in Finnish: Meidän Festivaali) is renowned for its fresh approach to the arts and its crossover events. Bold, open-minded and socially aware it was first held in 1997 as Chamber Music by Lake Tuusula and is now an annual event. The concerts of 13 – 17 December tour are a part of the Breaking the Silence project by Our Festival. The aim of the project is to provide high quality art experiences also in the quiet and rural parts of Finland.

Language: Finnish sign language and dance

The short movie Seevvist jeegist by Ville-Riiko Fofonoff combines sign language and dance into the mythology of Inari Sami.

In December the festival lights up the Christmas spirit at different venues around Eastern Finland.

Monissa puuroissa keitetty, laulava ja soittava tonttujoukko hiipii varpahillaan ja sammutetuin soihduin kohti Punavuorta. G Livelabin raoista voi kuulla monenlaista herkkua, ja tällä kertaa tarjoillaan joulumusiikin perinteistä paistia ja lientä sovittelevaan sävyyn. Taakka ei paina selkää kun kirkassilmäiset silkohapset louhivat soittimistaan hauskan iltahetken. Kun maass’ on hanki ja järjet jäässä, voimme öitten varjoissa palata kotikoloihin alle sillan, aallee siillaan.
